The Operations and Apparatus
Captain shall have responsibilities including, but not limited to, the following:
- Will oversee all fleet maintenance operations.
- Will oversee the purchase
and distribution of uniforms for qualified EMS personnel and will oversee
the purchase, use, and accountability of
EMS station supplies.
- Shall turn in all paperwork to the EMS Administration
and the Transportation Center in a timely manner. This paperwork includes,
but is not limited
to, mileage sheets, invoices, and receipts.
- Will oversee ordering of member
uniforms on a regular semester schedule.
- Will report directly to the
Chief.
- Other duties as assigned
The Operations and Apparatus Captain shall meet the following qualifications:
- Must
be certified minimally as an EMT-B (TDH.)
- Must have served as a medic
for one fall or spring semester.
- Must be a current student at TAMU.
- Must be in good standing with the
TAMU and TAMU EMS.
