The Lieutenant will report directly
to and is responsible to the Operations and Apparatus Captain.
The position will have the following duties:
- Coordinates operation of TAMU
EMS vehicle fleet.
- Will be responsible for creating and enforcement
of EMS vehicle scheduling.
- Will coordinate repair and preventive maintenance
of TAMU fleet.
- Will keep records and statistics of all repairs/maintenance
to TAMU fleet
- Will keep records of unit checks.
- Will be responsible for keeping TAMU
EMS vehicles in compliance with local, state, and national requirements.
- Will inform the EMS Schedule Officer of any conflicts in truck status.
- Will oversee the ordering of member uniforms on a regular semester
schedule.
- Will oversee the inventory, usage, ordering, and stocking of
EMS station supplies.
- Will oversee the general organization and cleanliness
of the station.
- Other duties as assigned.
The position shall have the following qualifications:
- Must be a currently
enrolled student at TAMU.
- Must be in good
standing with Texas A&M
University and TAMU EMS.
- Must be a member of TAMU EMS for one long semester.
