Public Relations

The Public Relations Department of University EMS prides itself on community outreach. University EMS sponsors several training days for the general public to gain basic medical experience and CPR certifications. These courses are either free to the participant, or cost a very minimal fee to cover expenses.

University EMS will also schedule events specific for student organizations. If you would like to schedule an event, please notify our squad room at 979-845-1525 and ask to speak with Public Relations.

If your organization is seeking medical standby for an event, there are a few options. TAMECT will provide a first aid station with several medics who will staff the station with a basic life support crew. Their website can be found here, or you may dial TAMECT's office at 979-458-8288. If your organization needs an ambulance standby, please contact our squad room at 979-845-1525 and ask to speak with public relations.
