Texas A&M University Emergency Medical Services is a campus-based EMS agency that responds to medical and traumatic emergencies on the Texas A&M campus and surrounding community. Texas A&M EMS offers its services to all of Aggieland’s students, faculty, staff, and visitors.

Texas A&M EMS is located on the second floor of A.P. Beutel Health Center and operates 24/7/365. It is our commitment to provide superior patient care using the latest technology and equipment.  Texas A&M EMS answers about 900-1000 calls for emergency requests each year.

Along with responding to emergencies, Texas A&M EMS provides medical coverage for hundreds of medical standbys and special events. You’ve probably seen us at the Rec. Center, a football game, or a special event!

Texas A&M EMS is composed of over 100 staff members, many of which are current or former Texas A&M students. Each medical provider is certified by the Texas Department of State Health Services as an EMT, AEMT, or Paramedic, regardless of if they are current students.

If you have an emergency that requires EMS, Police, or Fire, simply call 911, regardless of whether you are using a landline or cell phone. In Brazos County, you may also text 911 if it is not safe to make a voice call.

If you would like to speak with our staff, please dial our non-emergency line at 979-845-1525.
