University EMS is based out of the A.P. Beutel Health Center on main campus near Sbisa Dining Center and the Academic Building. University EMS operates 24 hours a day continuously throughout the year. It is our commitment to provide superior patient care using the latest technologies and equipment while providing this service through the hands of highly trained volunteer medics that dedicate their time to staff our emergency units. Texas A&M EMS answers 900-1000 calls for emergency assistance each year with service expecting to grow in the future.

All medics on staff are trained at the EMT and Paramedic levels. University EMS is managed and operated by currently enrolled Texas A&M students who volunteer their time to keep us in operation. Our ambulances are staffed at the mobile intensive care unit (MICU) level, making us one of the leaders in collegiate emergency medical services.

If you have an emergency that requires EMS, Police, or Fire, dial 9-911 if you are using a campus phone line. If you are using an off campus line (cellular phone), dial 911 as usual. If you need to schedule an event or would like to speak with our staff, please dial our non-emergency line at 979-845-1525.
